A Big Adventure


Well, we had been having a nice weekend on the Gold Coast, and we came back Sunday afternoon to a bit of an adventure. We had noticed on Friday night the cats had knocked over lots of stuff from shelves in the living room, but had not thought much about it. Then, we noticed MORE stuff knocked over when we came back on Sunday... AND they had not eaten any of their food (which is on the first floor)... AND they would not come up out of the basement, even for treats. And this photo shows why... we had a large-ish carpet python (non-venomous) snake curled up next to the power converter by the stereo.  Posted by Hello

Tom and Ally both said they feel so sorry for the kitty's!

Yes, the poor kitties were afraid of the snake, but that is a good thing because it kept them out of harm's way. We are still trying to find out how the snake got in....
