Flying to Darwin!


Flew to Darwin today for the Australian Psychological Society national conference - first time in Darwin and VERY excited! Was not unhappy with the desserts enjoyed at my first meal in Darwin - fabulous!

Positive Ageing Journey


Today we had an event in Brisbane called the Positive Ageing Journey, and the Ageing Mind Initiative folks had a table there. It was a great day filled with good speakers and even a celebrity chef demonstraing healthy meals.

Tim is teaching all weekend, one of his last teaching weekends of the year. BUT this has given me an opportunity to catch up on some gardening!

Visit to James Cook University



Today I visited James Cook University to give a talk on the Geriatric Anxiety Inventory to students in the School of Psychology there. The lecture was broadcast to the JCU campus in Cairns, which was neat. I also got to visit my good friend Ed Helmes, who is a great geropsychologist and a lovely host. BUT I am still jealous of his cavernous office...

Presenting in Montreal




The Congress was very interesting, but I was far too busy! Had numerous meetings and several presentations to make. Luckiy Monique and I found time to relax and rewind in between the work!
