Gardening Expo

"Kangaroo Paw"

"Grevillea - pink mist"

"Eucalyptus"

"Banksia - birthday candles"

Yesterday Tim and I went to the Gardening Show in Brisbane at the convention centre - today I thought I'd post photos of some of our favorite native flowering plants, plus a native garden photo - this is what we'd eventually like our garden to look like!

Beautiful! I love the bottlebrush flowers (Callistemon) too because of their great colour and the birds they attract. :)

Hey Nancy. Loved the flower pics. It is funny I knew the names but not sure I ever saw them before. Didn't know Eucalyptus even had flowers :). Guess you can tell I am not much of a gardener. i manage to pot some vinca for the summer and that is it.
