Today we took the cats to the vet for their annual check-up and vaccinations. Angel needs to have a tooth removed, and Zamboni has hyper-thyroidism. That will require medication in the first instance, then possibly radioactive iodine to kill the (non-malignant) tumor in the thyroid gland.

Cats to Vet
Today we took the cats to the vet for their annual check-up and vaccinations. Angel needs to have a tooth removed, and Zamboni has hyper-thyroidism. That will require medication in the first instance, then possibly radioactive iodine to kill the (non-malignant) tumor in the thyroid gland.

Fletcher was on thyroid medicine - so is my father-in-law - but Fletcher did very well with the med. We had to have it adjusted a few times - he was on it for a few years...it really helped him...
But Fletcher had hypo not hyper...
