Prince's Gate Hotel, Rotorua
Arrived in Rotorua yesterday evening, very pleased at the state of my accommodation... very pleasant to look at on the outside, and only slightly cold and damp on the inside. Read a hysterical report on the woeful state of NZ housing, particularly with respect to insulation. In one house in Dunedin (on the South Island), the inside of the house was actually colder than the interior of their refrigerator. Ah, I understood this concept all too well, having lived in NZ for three cold, damp years...
